I am a 2019 History of Art graduate from the University of Oxford, artist consultant, writer, podcast host, and vlogger. My written work focuses on London's contemporary art scene.
I aim to talk about the arts in an accessible, funny, no-nonsense tone, and hope to engage new audiences to fine art, demystify the gallery, and entertain.
I'm a former stand-up ("Dizzyingly Entertaining" Cherwell), sketch ("Wild and hilarious" Oxford Opening Night), and improvised comedian. During my time at the University of Oxford, I was co-president of the Oxford Revue and performed regularly with the Oxford Imps ("Mention must go to Verity Babbs... a few of the best gags of the day" Broadway Baby).
In my series 'Art Laughs' I interview the UK's rising comedic stars about an artwork of their choice.
Previous Guests include:
Rosie Jones (Live at the Apollo, The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown)
Fatiha El Ghorri (Comedy Central UK)
Pierre Novellie (Spitting Image, The Mash Report)
Bella Hull (BBC’s Stand Up for Live Comedy, Russell Howard Tour Support, Yellow Comedy’s Young Comedian of the Year)

I write for a number of publications and my work focuses largely on contemporary painters.
