About Verity
I am a 2019 History of Art graduate from the University of Oxford, artist consultant, writer, podcast host, and vlogger. My written work focuses on London's contemporary art scene.
I aim to talk about the arts in an accessible, funny, no-nonsense tone, and hope to engage new audiences to fine art, demystify the gallery, and entertain.
I'm a former stand-up ("Dizzyingly Entertaining" Cherwell), sketch ("Wild and hilarious" Oxford Opening Night), and improvised comedian. During my time at the University of Oxford, I was co-president of the Oxford Revue and performed regularly with the Oxford Imps ("Mention must go to Verity Babbs... a few of the best gags of the day" Broadway Baby).
