Art Laughs brings comedy to arts & heritage spaces.
Begun by art historian & comedian Verity Babbs during the first lockdown as a series of interviews with comedians (including Jenny Eclair, Rosie Jones, and Thanyia Moore) about an artwork of their choice, Art Laughs now encompasses:
Art-themed stand-up events
Art-inspired improv experiences
Comedy guided tours through gallery & museum spaces
Panel talks with top comedic talent
Quizzes & live event hosting
All formats are entirely customisable to space, theme, and artworks on the wall. Art Laughs has featured at the National Gallery, Royal Museums Greenwich, Pallant House Gallery, Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair, London Art Bar, & the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
